True North Excellence Limited are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our users. Please take a moment to read our Privacy Policy as it describes what happens to the personal information which you supply to True North Excellence.  True North Excellence reserves the right to change the terms of this Privacy Policy from time to time.

  1. What information does True North Excellence hold about you and how is it collected?

If you register onto one of our events or onto the True North Excellence website, your personal information (including your name, job title, company’s name, telephone, fax and mobile numbers, postal, dietary requirements and email address) is collected by True North Excellence.  We also collect personal information from you when you contact us (by email or otherwise).

In common with many other websites and online services, we may use “cookies” to store and sometimes track information about you, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, but only on an anonymous basis. None of the information we store via cookies is linked to personally identifiable information (PPI). A cookie is a small amount of data sent from the server which is stored on your PC’s hard drive.  You can set your browser to refuse cookies or ask your browser to show you where cookies have been set up.  Certain services are only activated by the presence of a cookie and, if you choose to reject the cookie, an on-line feature may not be available to you.

 

  1. What does True North Excellence do with your personal information?

All the personal information described above will be stored on True North Excellence user database (unless you notify us that you no longer wish us to retain such information, in which case it will be deleted). True North Excellence will only use your personal information to contact you (for example by email, mail or telephone) for those purposes to which you have previously consented on the site.  For example, if you register on the site, True North Excellence will email to you True North Excellence’s monthly email, and contact you about relevant products and services offered by True North Excellence or by reputable third parties.  You may cancel your subscription to True North Excellences communications at any time.

  1. To whom is your personal information disclosed?

True North Excellence will only share will share your personal information with the companies that you intend to visit if part of a study visit or benchmarking tour. We will make you name and company name available to the host site for security reasons. True North Excellence will not otherwise disclose your personal information to any third parties.

 

  1. How do we protect your information?

True North Excellence is committed to data security.  Although it makes every effort to create a secure environment for your personal information, True North Excellence cannot guarantee the safety of any personal information which is transmitted to us on-line.

To prevent unauthorised disclosure or access to your information, true North Excellence have implemented strong physical and electronic security safeguards.

True North Excellence has also follow stringent procedures to ensure work with all personal data in line with the Data Protection Act 1998. The site uses the following plugins for security and performance: Sucuri Security – a security plugin that monitors live traffic and protects login areas; Wordfence – a security plugin that monitors live traffic, secures website files and scans files for any malicious changes.
